Co-owner and head baker, Katie Hutches, started making macarons in her free time while teaching kindergarten in Chicago. Although starting as a hobby and a relief from the stress of teaching, baking macarons quickly became a passion. After years of baking for friends and family, Katie decided to make the jump, and started Offbeat Macarons & Sweets with her husband, Andy, in the summer of 2023. The two are excited to offer their treats to anyone looking for delicious and quality macarons, cakes, and pies.
